The Senior Vice-President of MTN Group, Ebenezer Asante, is on a working visit to Cameroon from 7 to 8 September 2023.

This visit is part of a tour undertaken in the Central and West Africa Sub-regions to monitor the implementation of the Ambition 2025 strategy through which MTN Group is committed to making greater contribution to digital inclusion for the progress of Africa.

The Cameroon leg of this journey includes several meetings with MTN Cameroon’s internal and external stakeholders. To this end, Ebenezer Asante will be received in audience at the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Telecommunications Regulatory Board.

MTN delegation intends to seize this opportunity and exchange with the authorities to reaffirm MTN Group’s long-term commitment to Cameroon and provide more details to the investment projects announced by Group CEO, Ralph Mupita, during his meeting with the Prime Minister of Cameroon in South Africa on August 25 on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit.

During his stay in Cameroon, Ebenezer Asante will also meet with MTN Cameroon Staff and the Executive Committee.
