Self-MoMo reversal is a faster and easier solution which will allow customers to reverse money sent wrongly via the short code *126#, to avoid cash-out by the wrong recipients.
Who is eligible ?
All customers who’ve done direct transfer transactions.
How to do a MoMo Self-Reversal ?
- Dial *126# (the Mobile Money short code).
- Choose option 7 for ‘My account’.
- Select option 5 for ‘Reverse Transaction’.
- Select the transaction you wish to reverse, add an annulation message, and confirm with your code.
- You’ll receive a message confirming that the reversal request has been successfully initiated. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out!
- In case you do not receive any confirmation message, please contact your nearest branch or call us on 8787 or WhatsApp: 650528787 / 683008787 or Zigi 678888787 to obtain the necessary documents to cancel your outpayment.
