VAS is a value-added service that allows a subscriber to benefit from a varied product range at a reasonable cost.

All subscribers can subscribe to VAS.

To subscribe to VAS services, you can dial *204# for the most common but the code varies depending on the VAS to be activated.

There are specific codes of unsubscription depending on the VAS (as seen below), but the general code to unsubscribe from all VAS services is *174#. The customer is asked to select the services to be deactivated.

The VAS categories available are games, quizzes, music, culture (which varies from sports, religious, and other information)

To check for VAS you can dial *174# then choose 1 for “Lifestyle” then 1 for “List of active services”. A list of the VAS you are subscribed to will appear.

Also, when you have subscribed to a VAS, you receive messages at a regular frequency. These are the messages which provide information on the subscribed VAS.
