The issue of child online protection has gained significant attention as internet is becoming an integral part of our lives. MTN has a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of abuse and exploitation, including children.

In Cameroon, as in many other countries, safeguarding children against the potential dangers of the online world has become a top priority.

MTN Foundation, in its constant effort to fight against child exploitation on the internet partners with Internet Watch Foundation (IWF)  to deploy a reporting portal that enables Cameroonians to report any case of child sexual abuse (CSAM). The denunciation process is safe and anonymous. IWF will investigate all reports and ensure that confirmed child sexual abuse contents on the internet are removed at source. Our partnership with IWF relies on our commitment to ensure child online safety.

The public is encouraged to use IWF’s confidential reporting portal to report online Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
