Operational Delivery
• Search for new clients who could benefit from MTNC products in a designated sector of activity, size of company or region

The Specialist API and Integrations is responsible for supporting Mobile Money organization in ensuring seamless integrations through all existing/incoming APIs. The role works closely with Group teams and external vendors (when required) to ensure that all APIs and integrations in the OpCo are implemented efficiently and cater to functional requirements. Performs other duties in providing technical support for the onboarding of partners and other third party platforms.
Detailed Job Description:
Operational Delivery
– Design and build API and integration solutions
– Ensure alignment and adherence to standards, processes & guidelines defined by MTN Group Technology and Group DigiFin Technology teams as applicable
– Work with various API platforms and the different solution providers (Azure, Google etc), as and when required
– Ensure API platform availability is maintained to the highest possible standard as per SLA
– Responsible for troubleshooting with 3rd parties, which includes working with debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools
– Gather requirements and help build the tools and processes to increase the ease and efficiency with which APIs integrate
– Ensure conflicting / redundant APIs do not exist in the OpCo environment
– Resolve technical problems relating to API application by identifying and fixing bugs
– Provide technical guidance on API and integrations, drive implementation process and resolve technical issues
– Closely monitor and receive feedback from the various functions and work closely with API owner teams in Mobile Money company and group to prioritize improvements and new features

In charge of medical advice and monitoring of all medical concerns of employees, the Occupational Physician will be responsible for the following duties :

  1. Organizing and coordinating annual routine medical check-ups and possible vaccination campaigns for employees.
  2. Conducting employee awareness campaigns on infectious diseases on the basis of a programme developed annually and approved by MTN Cameroon.
  3. Ensuring the coordination of internal health programmes on the basis of a predefined annual action plan approved by the Management of MTN Cameroon (campaigns on chronic diseases, HIV-AIDS, awareness-raising, screening, treatment, etc.)
  4. Following up employees’ medical records and giving a formal opinion on the work of sick employees.
  5. Coordinating emergency and evacuation procedures within or out of the country.
  6. Ensuring the verification of medical expense reimbursement files according to the procedure in force.
  7. Providing appropriate support and advice for all the medical concerns of employees.
  8. Acting as interface and facilitator between employees, locally-based medical structures and the public administration on health issues.
  9. Producing a monthly report on the health status of the entire staff in the region to be transmitted to the Department of Human Resources of MTN Cameroon.
