10 million FCFA to be won every week until October within the framework of the MTN Hope promotion campaign.
MTN Cameroon, leader in Electronic Communications in Cameroon announces the launch of the MTN Hope promotion campaign which will enable its subscribers to earn millions of francs CFA and deal with the socio-economic consequences of the Covid-19 crisis.
100 MTN subscribers will therefore be able to win one million FCFA each between 25 July and 7 October 2020, being 10 million FCFA as gains paid out to 10 customers each week. Winners will also benefit the expertise of experienced coaches to help them make good use of their earnings.
To participate, customers will need to dial *160# and discover the target they need to achieve. These objectives are either related to their usual communication operations or to their transactions on the MTN Mobile Money platform. Achieving either of the targets will make them eligible for the weekly draws that will take place live on MTN Cameroon’s Facebook page.
Subscribers will also be able to earn airtime bonuses throughout the campaign. In addition, the company will allow the public to select ten primary schools across the country, each of which will receive a health kit to protect pupils and teachers from the spread of Covid-19.
This new promotion campaign aims at enabling MTN Cameroon subscribers to cope with the socio-economic consequences of Covid-19. It reinforces MTN’s contribution to the national response against Covid-19. MTN already participates strongly in the national response through a vast SMS awareness campaign for the population, an assertive support to health care personnel, the Y’ello Hope caravan which continues to travel across the 10 regions of the country to bring Covid-19 equipment to the most vulnerable communities, etc.
“The Covid-19 health crisis affects all levels of our society and has a strong impact on the most vulnerable. With the MTN Hope campaign, we are working together to bring more hope to the population by helping them face the socio-economic consequences of this pandemic. In the current circumstances, one million can change a life, and even lives,” said MTN Cameroon’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Ebenezer Bodylawson.
