A VAS is a value-added service that allows a subscriber to benefit from a varied product range at a reasonable cost.

The VAS Unsubscription portal is a USSD menu that allows customers to see the value-added services they have subscribed to, and to unsubscribe from individual or all services.

All MTNC Customers with active value added services.

Customers can access the VAS Unsubscription Portal by dialing *174#.

What are available VAS Category ? What are available VAS Category ?

Lifestyle : The majority of services fall into this category ;
Upstream : Here we find services such as SMS quizzes (MTN Challenge, Live Battle…), proverbs, quotes and advice ;
Digital Virgo : Here we find the services whose short numbers are 8710, 8704, 8139 (PlayVod, PlayWeez, Clicnscore, Digster…) ;
MTN ZIK : These are ringback tones.

  • Dial *174# ;
  • A menu with Lifestyle & MTN Zik appears;
  • Choose Lifestyle then Option 1 – List of active services to see your active services. You will have the option to unsubscribe.

  • To unsubscribe from all VAS, after arriving at the Lifestyle menu, as described above, choose Option 2 – unsubscribe from all services and validate;
  • In case of complaint, kindly contact us through our call center by dialing 8787 or through our MTN Stores.
