During the 2019-2020 school year, 65 multimedia centres set up and equipped by MTN Foundation are operational in secondary schools in the 10 regions of Cameroon.

The MTN Foundation’s Digital Schools programme aims to create digital opportunities for Cameroonian high school students and thus improve the quality of their education. MTN Foundation is convinced that, students with access to these multimedia centres will be able to considerably improve their knowledge and, above all, be better prepared to face the challenges of the new digital world, dominated by the omnipresence of digital technologies and tools.

Millions of students have returned to school in Cameroon. MTN Foundation is honored, once again, to support these children through its programs dedicated to Education. With the Digital Schools programme, the first corporate foundation in Cameroon provides more than 100,000 students and 4,000 teachers access to IT tools on a daily basis.

Since 2005, we have been working alongside the Public Authorities to improve the living conditions of communities in the domains of education, health and rural development.
